Enactus is an international non-profit organization that brings together business and motivated student leaders who are committed to using the power of entrepreneurial action to improve the quality of life and standard of living for not only those in need but for all of us. UCU has been a part of this global team since 2013 with numerous projects that are committed to using the power of social entrepreneurship in order to bring about results for real world challenges.
Enactus UCU currently consists of four active projects, namely Bag on Track, Viotopo, Emperiod and Syndeo, that are working in different fields to create sustainable improvements to the community. Through these projects, student members not only get a chance to “break the bubble” but also to develop entrepreneurial and leadership skills through practical experiences; it enables them to apply concepts they learn in class to real world situations. UCU students are known for their critical thinking skills and ability to use their interdisciplinary approach to academics for out of the box solutions to global problems. Enactus provides them with a platform to realize these thoughts and create meaningful impact. They find additional support in achieving this through the larger Enactus network that holds events and workshops that prove useful to the members throughout their careers and professional life.
Every year, Enactus UCU recruits enthusiastic and ambitious students to be part of their projects, both new and established, to contribute to the good work being done. All these efforts culminate in the National Exposition where different projects compete in various categories for prizes, funding and a chance to compete in the World Cup!
