The commencement team is a team of students, led by the secretary of College Hall, that organizes the biyearly commencement ceremony for graduates. The ceremony in winter is intimate and small and takes place in het Academiegebouw in Utrecht. The ceremony in summer is large-scaled and festive, taking place in Tivoli Utrecht. Representatives of the Academic Student Council, University College Student Association and other students that show interest and motivation together arrange that graduates can enjoy their special and well-deserved day to the fullest. Presents and performances get arranged, the salutatorian and valedictorian get chosen and the team makes sure the day runs as smoothly as possible. You meet every two weeks for 1-hour. All you need to do is bring your enthusiasm, organization abilities and team spirit to the table.
