The UCSA handles a yearly budget of €300,000 and its great variety of committees, teams and activities form an interesting basis to learn more about finances and our association as a whole.
What do we do exactly? The AT checks whether the expenses and income of the UCSA and UCSA Bar are in compliance with the statutes and agreements made at the General Assembly (GA). Moreover, at the GA, the AT presents a statement to the GA on the financial health of our association. To do so, the AT checks the UCSA’s and Bar’s financial administration four times a year and goes into discussion with the treasurers of both the UCSA Board and BarCo Board. We do profit calculations and check whether the balances and expenses are correct. Furthermore, we give advice to BarCo and the UCSA regarding their finances.
