Humanities consist of fields that study human society, culture, and experience. What distinguishes the humanities most from Social Sciences and Sciences is that these fields almost exclusively use qualitative data and logic. Rather than trying to push human experience into graphs, disciplines in the humanities use extensive paradigms, paintings, in-depth interviews, novels, performances, lived examples and artifacts to try to get to the core of culture and experience. In sum, Humanities is all about stories that define us as humans.Prerequisites for every course can be found in the Course Planner.
